Real-life Adventures

Have you ever wanted to be a hero in an adventure novel? Now you can. Let John create a real-life adventure game for your party, school, church, camp or retreat. How does it work? John writes his games the same way he writes his novels. Every guest gets to play a character with a unique set of skills, characteristics and goals. But unlike the old-fashioned "Murder Mystery" party games of the past, guests don't sit around reading their cues and they aren't constrained by scripts. They are completely free to become their characters as they run around trying to accomplish their objectives any way they please. But it isn't easy. The characters' objectives are carefully designed to put them at odds with one another. In order to win, your guests may have to solve mysteries, make or break alliances, scheme, manipulate, blackmail, extort, steal, and maybe even commit murder -- all in a zany and light-hearted, carefully-controlled way. Community-Building Retreats

John will lead your group through a series of fun-filled, ultra-creative workshops designed to build community and get your group excited about a shared vision or purpose. Sessions include brainstorming, vision casting, community-building, self-sustaining systems development, and lots of fun and games.
